Dr. Sylvia R. Epps, DIR’s COO, has been named an awardee of the Houston Business Journal’s (HBJ) 40 under 40 for 2020. She joins an elite class of business leaders in the Houston area, leading for-profit and nonprofit organizations. HBJ received more than 400 applications for the 40 Under 40 awards. A panel of judges from across industries scored the nominees on leadership, overcoming challenges, and community involvement.
