Decision Information Resources, Inc. (DIR) has been selected by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) to evaluate their “Building Capacity to Reduce Tobacco-Related Inequities in the South and Midwest” initiative. Utilizing a culturally-responsive, equity-centered and participatory evaluation approach, the DIR team will evaluate RWJF’s grants to engage and support organizations working with the populations most harmed by tobacco to increase their ability to advocate for stronger community-driven tobacco-control policies and practices, focused on African-American and rural communities in high tobacco usage states.
