DIR is honored to partner with the Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation (JBRF) and WorkFaith on two meaningful projects that build capacity, strengthen data systems, and elevate mission-driven impact. We are proud to spotlight these partnerships that align deeply with our values and expand our impact across communities.

JBRF is a Washington, DC–based philanthropic organization dedicated to reducing disparities in health and economic opportunity among Black women living east of the Anacostia River. To support this mission, DIR is leading a multi-phase engagement to modernize JBRF’s grantmaking infrastructure, integrate data across platforms, and design real-time dashboards that strengthen strategic decision-making. Our work includes conducting a comprehensive assessment of current systems, developing platform and dashboard recommendations, guiding data migration, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and building staff capacity for long-term sustainability.

WorkFaith, a Houston-based nonprofit committed to uplifting job seekers through employment readiness, career support, and wraparound services, has engaged DIR to strengthen its evaluation capacity. DIR is working alongside WorkFaith to refine its theory of change, enhance data collection tools, build standardized processes, and develop a measurement framework that better captures participant outcomes. This includes logic-model development, tool refinement, sampling strategies, standard operating procedures, dashboard prototypes, staff training, and the development of reporting templates that help WorkFaith tell a compelling, cohesive story about its impact.
