The U.S. Department of Labor, National Office of Job Corps, exercised the first option year for the Job Corps Data Integrity, Research and Evaluation (DRE) contract. The DRE team, which includes Battelle and ASHLIN Management Group, Inc., will continue providing technical assistance and program support to the Job Corps program in four key areas: overhaul and continued support of program management tools and reports; data integrity assurance through program audits; safety risk management, including student safety surveys; and program evaluation and research. DIR supports the improvement of data integrity in Job Corps using statistical-based methods to identify program risks and by creating performance and risk-assessment dashboards. All of DIR’s work under this contract assists Job Corps in meeting the changing requirements of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act legislation.
