Project Description

The Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) West serves the states of Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah. In support to the REL West, DIR  developed memos as part of the “Ask-a-REL” Reference Desk in response to requests and questions submitted through a public electronic submission system. The memos were developed from (1) conducting systematic searches for relevant research materials, (2) identifying relevant studies and developing lists of references and abstracts, and (3) documenting the work done by using an agreed-upon platform for communication. DIR also conducted reviews of individual research studies using What Works Clearinghouse standards, or similar standards, according to IES instructions.
