Decision Information Resources, Inc. (DIR) is excited to announce our partnership with the City of Austin’s Early Childhood Council (ECC) and Equity Office (EO) to conduct the Quality of Life study. This essential study aims to deepen the ECC’s understanding of the supports and barriers experienced by families and caregivers of young children, with the goal of developing effective strategies to enhance their quality of life.
DIR will gather multimodal survey responses from at least 2,000 caregivers, ensuring a diverse representation of Austin’s early childhood population. Our comprehensive approach also includes conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups with current and future parents. By thoroughly examining both quantitative and qualitative data, we will deliver actionable insights and recommendations that are both culturally responsive and equity centered.
Our methodology is designed to be adaptable to the evolving needs, priorities, and conditions of our partners and their communities. This flexibility is crucial to producing informative and actionable insights that will drive positive change for Austin’s young children and their families.
We are excited to contribute to this important initiative and look forward to making a meaningful impact on the lives of Austin’s youngest residents and their families.
